Interactive seminars in Global Issues (Dublin)

Suas is running a series of interactive seminars in Global Issues. Held in the Irish Aid Volunteering Centre, the seminars will run every Monday from 6.00-8.00 in the Awareness Room until the 30th of March.Our next session is on the 23rd of March on Aids/HIV.This will be facilitated by Dr. David Weakliam, currently a Public Health consultant with the HSE. Dr. Weakliam has extensive work experience in international health in areas of conflict such as Liberia, Sudan, Democratic Republic of Congo and Nepal. This session will investigate the reality of the spread of HIV/Aids; examining the socio-cultural factors involved. They run every Spring and Autumn and we're always looking for facilitators and people to come.

7. To support Ethnic Minority women to participate in the development of the community.
8.To equip our youth with the necessary skills and abilities to gain more successful professional skills and livelihood.
9.To teach the youngsters respect for intercultural and interfaith
