An Intercultural Event in Dublin organized by the National Youth Council of Ireland

Following on from a successful event in Cork last week, NYCI is hosting an event to showcase positive examples of intercultural youth work projects in Leinster. It will give youth workers a chance to learn from those involved how these intercultural projects were conceived, planned and implemented, what challenges arose and how they were overcome.

Time and date: Thursday 2 April, 5 – 7pm

Schedule:
5.00 – 5.15pm Welcome and viewing of exhibitions; Refreshments served
5.15 – 5.45pm Presentations of the Projects
(Peace Corps Localise – Minorities; Integration of African Children in Ireland (IACI) – Intercultural festivals & Youth Conference; Foroige – Tyrrelstown Youth Initiative; Scouting Ireland – Intercultural Policy; NATC – Integrated youth work with Traveller Community and Settled Community)
5.45 – 6.45pm Question & Answer sessions
6.45 – 7.00pm Evaluation and Feedback
